Blah Blah…

March 5, 2009 at 18:08 (Uncategorized)

Well, after I embedded those youtube videos in the posts Mou’s Tag, youtube disabled embedding for a few of those videos. Few were removed because of copyright violation. So, I have removed the videos. The post now has just the list.

Yipie! I have a 100 comments now on my blog now, the 100th one being from Ms. Logically Illogical (I wish u weren’t anonymous :) )

1000+ visits and 100+ comments within just 2 months of going public with my blog….ah! I’m getting popular! :P

On second thoughts, around 40 of them are comments in reply. So, the sense of popularity is a fake one, obviously. :D

(I don’t know what made me write this post.)

My New Cellfone!

January 5, 2009 at 20:30 (Uncategorized)

Finally after a long long wait, I could get rid of my Nokia 1100.

After having lost my first cellfone within 6 months of its purchase, when I was handed 1100 as a replacement I could do nothing more than accept it n stay mum. Almost everyone had a new set with ample storage space for all the head-bangin’ metals n blues with good speakers and better camera while I had the great NOKIA bestseller – THE “1100″. Give it to a beggar, he would throw it back at you alongwith a 100-rupees note. Leave it unattended at the railway platform; you might find the 100 rupee note in ur pocket missing but the fone would still be there staring back at you with a devilish smile. Throw it from the Eiffel, it wont get a scratch even; just pick it up n shake off the dust and lo…you hear the very familiar irritating ringtone ringing at a higher decibel as if it were cursing and cussing.

I just wanted a new set. And finally last christmas, I got one. Having set a budget of 10k, I googled(read: searched) a lot to find out a set with the best value for money. What I basically wanted is a Music Phone. And for some weird reason I prefer Nokia. Though there were quite a few sets which seemed impressive, I finally zeroed in on the new Nokia 5320 (red). (The red-black combo just seemed more aggressive and appealing than the blue-black one.)

Nokia 5320 is a relatively new set(released in July 2008). The bar-shaped Symbian-powered Nokia 5320 has a distinctive youthful appeal. Nokia 5320 measures 108 x 46 x 15 mm and is pocketable with a weight of just 90 grams.  This is compact enough for a smartphone. It belongs to the XpressMusic series with dedicated music and N-Gage gaming keys. With the 3.5 mm audio output jack, it lets ME choose the speakers. With a memory expandable to 8GB, I will always have anough space to load all my fav tunes and still have space for some more. 3G is the reason why I didnt mind shelling a few more and opt for 5320 instead of 5310. (I would deter from listing down the features as there are wiser sites doing all that and more.)

Precisely, I have a dynamite considering the key features and mega storage capacity and the impressive sound quality (though I can’t call it the best). I can’t ask for more at 10k. (And I’m so glad to finally pass on my 1100 to my sis :P )
